TIME

Only thing I want from god

whose existence I don't believe in

is a simple WIN

I want to win the race with time

I want it to be solely mine

Long ago I heard a phrase

"time and tide waits for none"

for me I want it to graze

and want it to wait for ONE

to be that particular chosen one

I don't know what should be done

But whats the reason for this demand

I want time to be my slave

I want it to go by quickly when i rave

I want it to stand still

at times

when I hide under my mum's veil

and at times

when during lectures i take my meal

I want it to be mine

'coz for me it is divine

I want to confine in me the "time"

Every believer wants to see his god

am not one

but i want to achieve my god

Maybe to others it may sound odd

but for me there are two gods

one achieved and the other time

and that is why it is so divine

I want time to wait

When I'm in my lovers arms

when am watching children play with charm

when after tedious day of work I bathe with water lukewarm

when I admire the green in my natives farm

when just for fun I disturb my friends with false alarm

I want time to be ME

I want time to be carefree

And I want time for boredom

Even Pain is Welcome

At the End I want time to die

a death they call 'Awesome'

and then I want to

sit comfortably with a bottle of rum

and see

the life of time in an Album!!!
